Spring has Sprung at the Richmond Co-op Nursery School

submitted by Miranda Lexmond

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]Familys and children of the Richmond Co-operative Nursery School (RCNS) were treated to a bright new look when they returned to preschool this week! The community worked hard to paint the school over March Break and the results were fantastic.

With spring just around the corner, it was time to freshen up the decor. RCNS families worked together to prepare the space and update the trim before the generous painters from Curb Appeal Plus donated their weekend to tackle the walls. In seven hours, they managed to make the space look amazing!

“It was time for some updates. It has been sneaking up on a decade since the space has been painted, and with the support provided by our corporate sponsors and school members we were able to make it happen this year. RCNS will be as vibrant as ever with all the little personalities, awesome programming, and now a fresh, clean look,” said Miranda Lexmond, President RCNS 2017/2018.

RCNS would like to thank their 2017/2018 sponsors for their generous support: Curb Appeal Plus, JMST Services Ltd., Richmond Home Hardware, Richmond Village Pharmacy, Law Office of Tricia Schouten, Ladies Auxiliary BR 625 Royal Canadian Legion, Kerr Karpentry Ltd., Brophy Financial Planning and Insurance Agency, Bayview Windows, Richmond IDA Pharmacy, Cydney Greene – Royal LePage Team Realty, Richmond Agricultural Society and Fresh Co. Bell’s Corners.

An Open House will be taking place on Tuesday April 10th from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. at 3529 McBean Street. RCNS invites everyone to stop in to see the updated space, learn about the programs offered, and allow their little ones to explore.
