South Carleton High School Art Show

[dropcap]O[/dropcap]On Wednesday, December 12th, residents of Richmond and surrounding area are invited to the SCHS SEMI-ANNUAL ART SHOW, which will be hosted by South Carleton High School!  The work will be on display from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the library.  Guests will enjoy an evening of creative indulgence, as students from South Carleton will feature over 200 original works.  This group exhibition will include over 100 different artists from grades 9 through 12 and include materials ranging from coloured pencil, pencil, charcoal, sharpie, collage, watercolour, and acrylic paint.

The SCHS ART SHOW has plenty to offer art enthusiasts looking for an alternative to regular evening outings.   Guests can expect to be challenged by stunning art, have an opportunity to meet and greet the young artists behind the work, and meet and watch local pottery artist Jo-Ann MacLaurin at work.  Guests are invited to come and enjoy the light refreshments, social exchange, relaxing atmosphere, and of course, the beautiful artwork of our talented students. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the event wraps up at 8:00 pm.  This exhibition is an all-ages event and families are welcome. Admission is free!
