RVA calls on youth, golfers and sponsors to support local youth initiative – The Scott Moffatt Golf4Youth Classic

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]The Richmond Village Association (RVA) is reaching out to youth, golfers and sponsors in Richmond to participate in a golf tournament at one of the region’s finest golf and event venues, the Canadian Golf & Country Club, on Friday, July 5th, 2019.

Last year’s event held during National Take a Kid to the Course Week and sponsored by Caivan Communities was a great success.  Not only did it introduce local youth to golf but it raised thousands of dollars in support of The Richmond Youth Centre and the Youth of Manotick Association.

Local resident and RVA/Richmond Youth Centre organizer Brian Kusiewicz who is working in partnership with Rideau-Goulbourn Councillor Scott Moffatt, the Youth of Manotick Association and the Richmond Youth Centre states:

The Scott Moffatt Golf for Youth Classic aims to raise money to help our rural youth groups in both Manotick and Richmond. We are working to provide a safe, inclusive environment for youth, to introduce them to new people and new activities while connecting them to their communities. You can help by sponsoring, donating a silent auction item, or just coming out and enjoying a great day of golf.

Local sponsors are needed. Check out the sponsorship opportunities for this worthwhile event at this link or download a sponsorship package in .pdf format here. Complete it and forward it via email to Brian at

If you have any questions whatsoever please contact Brian at the Richmond Village association

The event is now open for registration. To register as a participant in the event, book a tee time or simply to find out more about the event, the sponsors and beneficiaries please visit the website for the event at
