Richmond Family Fun Day – June 15th

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]The Richmond Family Fun Day has something for everyone! Being held Sat. June.15th 10am-3pm at the Richmond Fairgrounds. The event is Free with concession stands and food extra. This year the RVA has live performances scheduled throughout the day (see poster below for times)!
Rock the Arts Puppets the creation of Sarah Argue will be performing Animal Adventure!
Join the Creature Crew on a field trip to the ZOO like no other. Find out ways YOU can help the environment as the comical puppets come to life and make it a field trip adventure to remember!
Tim HOLLAND- Stunt Ventriloquist Show: “Master Ventriloquist Tim Holland is not the only daredevil on the stage, but try doing death-defying stunts while arguing with yourself! Either uncooperative or over-zealous, the Puppets always steal the show.
Featuring ventriloquism, dangerous juggling objects, and a high unicycle, the show offers something for everyone. Tim has performed for the President of Singapore, trained with masters of comedy, and has a rubber-chicken that dances the can-can.
Kevin SMITH- Magic & Balloon Sculptures:
From carefully crafted sleight of hand to impossible mind reading, Kevin’s close up Magic Show brings the Magic right infront of your eyes! He performs interactive magic with card’s, cups, balls, coins and much more! He tells endless jokes during his performance . making the children laugh nonstop, while hanging out with them & all the while Amazing and Dazzling them!

As well we have, Face Painting, Bouncy Castles & Games, Xtreme Trampolines, Wading Pools, Children’s Play & Craft Area, Bobbing for Apples, Puppet Theatre Photo Booth! & OTA Tennis Demo’s. The Richmond Cooperative Nursery School (RCNS) will be hosting a Craft Table and The Volunteer Firefighter Truck will be on-site for the Children to enjoy as well!
The Richmond Scouts & Girl Guides will be hosting information Booths at the Family Fun Day. As well as Watson’s Mill, & St. Philips School, Richmond, ON.
Jo Jo’s Pizza & The RVA BBQ will be on-site, as well as a Concession Stand offering Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Sno-Cones, Nacho’s & cheese, Ice Cream, Cold beverages & candy, all sales will be through cash only.
Free Door Prize Draw: with 10 possibilities National Gallery of Canada, CC’s Corner, Danbys Roadhouse, Fun Haven Ottawa, Hair Expectations, Karters Corners, Sue’s Hair Advantage, Starr Gymnastics, Ingenium Canada- (Admission to Science & Technology Museum, Museum of Aviation or Space Museum) & ValleyView Animal Farms!
