Richmond Agricultural Society Elects 2018 Board
[dropcap]L[/dropcap]Last week the Richmond Agricultural Society held its Annual General Meeting to elect the 2018 Board of Directors.
The 2018 Board of Directors has twenty nine community volunteers leading the Agricultural Society in its planning for the Fair later this year. For 173 years, the Richmond Agricultural Society has promoted agricultural awareness. Our commitment remains unchanged, but we also see our community changing, and we are committed to changing with it.
The Richmond Agricultural Society operates year round and hosts many community functions on our grounds. Having just completed the Annual Richmond Agricultural Society Curling Bonspiel, we turn our attention to planning for our St. Patty’s Day Party in March, our Annual Pancake Breakfast in April and the numerous other attractions and events held on our grounds throughout the spring and summer.
With February upon us and the Richmond Fair only eight months away, there is lots of work to do as we get ready to host you and your family at the 174th edition of the Richmond Fair.
