PHOTOS: Submit Yours!

I ran across this outstanding photo of the Jock River a few years ago when searching for pictures online.  It shows just how beautiful the Jock is!  It was taken by Rudy Pohl of Barrhaven who features his brilliant work on Flicker here.   I used this photo with Rudy’s permission in the past and thought it would be a perfect one to open an invitation to everyone in the Richmond area to share outstanding photos of their own with readers at RichmondHUB.ca.

We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area.  Collecting some of the great pictures from the area into an album on this site is my goal.  Pictures published may also serve in future articles about the area giving everyone a way to contribute to the evolving history of our community.

Whether your photos are of historic interest, nature, architecture, artistic, just plain fun or tell a story send them in for consideration.  If there is a story to tell along with the photo so much the better!  Just email a copy along with any facts about the photo to editor@richmondhub.ca
