Knights of Columbus Charity Raffle Draw donates $3800 to Richmond Food Bank

St. Philip and St. Clare Knights of Columbus Council 11825 held its 2nd annual charity raffle draw on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at St. Philip Parish Hall. The council sincerely thanks everybody who purchased raffle tickets. A big special thanks goes out to Tony Graham Automotive Group for donating the grand prize (a 100 level suite for an Ottawa Senators game), and to King’s Independent Grocer, who allowed us to sell tickets at their store.
The winners of the charity raffle draw were:
Grand prize – 100 Level Suite for Ottawa Senators vs Carolina Hurricanes on Feb, 12, 2019 ($4,500 value) – Theo Ebbers, ticket #0065
Second prize – Framed autographed Alex Ovechkin Jersey ($750 value) – Neil Van Galder, ticket #0180
Third prize – $300 – Mathier Papineau, ticket #1116
Fourth prize – $200 – Deacon Louis Seward, ticket #0757
Fifth prize – $100 – Vickie Downey, ticket #0329
After the raffle draw, a cheque for $3,800 was presented to Michelle McIver of the Richmond Food Bank to help Richmond village families in need. In addition, $3,795 was given to St. Philip Parish and St. Clare Mission.
