Fall Fun at Richmond Co-operative Nursery School

by Miranda Lexmond, President RCNS

TThe children and families of Richmond Co-op Nursery School have been busy celebrating fall in so many ways! The school year launched with a big party – a Teddy Bear Picnic to be specific – aboard the RCNS parade float. Kids brought their favourite bears and were entertained by one of their favourite songs. And of course, it was all lead by a big, dancing bear.

The autumn fun continues in the classroom where crafts, songs, and stories have been helping to remind students of all the wonderful gifts the season brings – from pumpkins, turkeys, and apples to changing leaves, flying geese, and (of course!) Halloween.

RCNS wishes to thank all their 2017/2018 sponsors for helping ensure this school year is off to such a wonderful start. Thank you to: Curb Appeal Plus, JMST Limited, Richmond Village Pharmacy, Richmond Home Hardware, Law Office of Tricia Schouten, Ladies Auxiliary BR 625 Royal Canadian Legion, Kerr Karpentry Ltd., Brophy Financial Planning and Insurance Agency, Bayview Windows, Richmond IDA Pharmacy, Cydney Greene – Royal LePage Team Realty, Richmond Agricultural Society and Fresh Co. Bell’s Corners.

We can’t wait to see what winter has in store!
