Edgeline Health & Fitness Opens in Richmond
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]At the HUB we love welcoming new businesses to the community! If you are looking for a way to get into better shape and would like to do it right in your home you may want to check out Edgeline Health and fitness. Alex Huard is President and CEO of Edgeline Health & Fitness. Alex fell in love with the Village of Richmond, while playing hockey at the Richmond Memorial Community Centre for the Ottawa Valley Titans. Alex’s new business is based in the village of Richmond and services the entire city of Ottawa including west-end locations like Carleton Place, Kemptville, Almonte and Arnprior.
Edgline offers in-home personal training and registered massage therapy. According to Alex “You don’t need any fancy gym equipment – instead, our experienced trainers will create a customized fitness plan for you using body weight exercises and items commonly found around your home. With the busy lives so many lead, this approach recognizes that many people can’t make it to a gym. You get to make the most of your time by having a personal trainer come to your home on your schedule.”
“With an in-home personal trainer, you get the same benefits as working with a personal trainer in a gym:- a personalized workout, individual attention, consistency and accountability. In addition, you save time by not having to commute to and from the gym. Instead, you exercise where you are, and once the workout is complete, you’re already home and ready to get on with your day.”
Your personal trainer also gives you tips and suggestions for what to work on during the days between personal training sessions.
In-home registered massage therapy services work the same way. When you book an appointment, a registered massage therapists brings everything you need for a massage:- oils, linens, and even a massage table. It takes about 10 minutes to setup the table in your home and prepare for the massage before your treatment can begin. When the treatment is over the therapist packs up and takes away all the linens and equipment. You can sit back and relax in the comfort of your own home.
